I won't know all the the pain and problems,
the hurt and fear, the stories and worries
that fill the hearts of those whose paths cross mine today...
Nor will others know the burdens my heart carries deep within...
So, help us, Lord,
to be as gentle and patient with one another today
as you are with all of us...
