Thank you, Lord, 
   for getting me over bumps in the road
      I thought were mountains...

Thank you for guiding me through days and nights
      I thought impossible, impassable...

Thank you for helping me accomplish
      what I never thought I could...

Help me hold on to these memories, Lord:
   I'll need their promise tomorrow...

Help me stay by your side, Lord,
   I know I can't make it alone...


With you by my side, 
   with your hand on my shoulder,
my troubles are halved, Lord,
   and my joys are doubled...
